'Women's bodies become battleground' in South Asia. First in #SriLanka, during Tamil Genocide & now in Manipur, India*. State against humanity - when will SL & India be held accountable for their crimes?! *played a major role in Tamil Genocide as well.
Forming a nation without rightly dividing powers among the natives is what leads to unrest, violence against women, & ethnic genocide. What is happening in Manipur, the central government is solely responsible. Ethnic violence that's taking place in Manipur, between Meitei & Kuki, resembles very much what's happening in Sri Lanka.

Though the population size varies, the land is native to both.
Recent unrest started in May 2023, with > 130 people have been killed, > 400 wounded, and >60,000 have been dislocated. This dislocation was a forceful one by the Indian army, paramilitary, and police.
Just as in Sri Lanka, as Tamils have been losing their lives, homes, and lands, with their greater population size, Meiteis have control over state government & have been taking over Kuki lands. Similar to the Sri Lankan state pushing illicit drugs on Tamil youths in the North & East, the Meitei-led state government is doing the same to Kukis, trying to bring down their race. We have witnessed such play in many countries to oppress ethnicities, including in the USA. Though this is described as ethnic conflict, religion also plays a role. A vast majority of Meitei are Hindus & Kukis are mostly Christians. Since the Modi government is in power, Hindu extremism has been at play throughout India. This is another example.
This week, we saw a video of two Kuki women dragged around the streets naked, which was taken in May. May seems to be a month of horror for many ethnicities fighting for their freedom & autonomy.
May 2009 is when LK state unleashed its final phase of genocide against Tamils, where they raped & paraded Tamil women. Now seeing the same pattern in Manipur, makes us question if this is what India - Sri Lanka allyship is about - intimidating a race by terrorizing women
When will India be safe for women?!
When will India be safe for natives who are small in number?!
When will India be held accountable for their crimes against humanity?!
